There are curvy roads that bring up to a hill. There are 3 other cabins near ours. The neighborhood has a lot of trees and shrubs and wildlife, including raccoons and black bears, which are typical for this area of TN. If you see bears, please don’t feed them! Stay at a distance and remain calm! Always lock your cars/windows.
The curvy roads that lead up to the hill are a bit narrow. Please drive slowly and watch for signs. In winter, you may want to consider using a 4WD vehicle, in case of ice or snow. Parking is in front of the cabin and there is space for 2 vehicles.
There are black bears in this area of TN. Always lock car doors/windows and don’t leave any food or drinks inside your car.
Fall months are “ladybug season”. You will see a lot of ladybugs around, just about everywhere. Don’t be alarmed! It’s very common the the area.
Summer months are “centipede season”. Again, no need to be alarmed. They are normal in a wooded area in the Smoky Mountains.
Wooded areas in the Smoky Mountains are homes to critters such as, but not limited to spiders, ants, centipedes, ladybugs, mosquitos, flies, raccoons, etc. We provide monthly pest control treatments, both inside and outside the property; however, we cannot guarantee that any such critters will not be visible inside or around the cabin. The presence of such local critters does not entitle guests to a refund. To protect your vacation investment, we encourage you to purchase travel insurance.

What a beautiful cabin. It was wonderfully private but extremely convenient to all the restaurants and activities. The house was immaculate and well-appointed. Claudia was very... read more responsive and a great host. We'll definitely be back.
We had a great family experience while staying a couple of nights in this cabin!
- Pros: good taste in the interior minimalist decoration, private and quiet, close to attractions,... read more Claudia is highly responsive, table in terrace for a nice breakfast, equipped with everything you need, arcade and foosball, deck hut tub.
- Cons: small things with easy fix, like the fridge not giving us water because of expired filter. You have to take out the trash out and clean the dishes, which I believe should be included in the high cleaning fee. Apart from that, this is a great cabin, I recommend it.
- Fun fact: there was a bear next to our car when we were trying to leave 🙂
- Recommendation: arrive before it gets dark, as the last mile and a half is a narrow and dark road.
This is a gem of a place in the woods! Peaceful, beautiful, private and yet very close to both Gatlinburg as well as Pigeon Forge!
We loved our vacation here!... read more The host was communicative and check in/out instructions were clear! The cabin has a rustic feel while not lacking for any modern amenities!

And, finally, the hot tub was lovely!
Two things to know: The pictures in the listing present the cabin in the absolute best possible way. They are accurate, but perhaps don’t allow the viewer to realize that space is tight, particularly in the kitchen and master bedroom. Certainly workable, but tighter than expected. I would also suggest bringing some food storage containers as dishes, pots, and silverware are provided, but not food storage containers for leftovers etc.
Another plus, the house is located within minutes of the Smoky Mountain National Park and directly between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. That made it really easy to enjoy scenic drives and hiking in the park as well as good restaurants and activities.
New, modern and great spaces for the kids. We really enjoyed our stay. Super location near the fun the area has to offer.
Beautiful and Well Designed Cabin. Perfect Touches by the Hosts. Just want others to know that the one room upstairs is a Loft Space. We would have preferred to... read more use that as our space since it had a bathroom, and the kids could claim the 2nd, downstairs bathroom.
